LeTourneau University to host Home School Preview Day Nov 9

Looking for a University that “gets you”?

At LeTourneau University, we understand home schoolers. Many of our faculty and staff home school their own children, and more than 18% of our student body come from a home schooling background. Our campus community understands your learning style. We understand YOU.

Join us for a taste of a University that is thriving with former home schoolers. We are having a Home School Preview Day on Friday, November 9th, and we would love to meet you!

Here at LeTourneau, we understand the value of learning through hands-on experiences. By attending this preview, you will have the opportunity to sit in a classroom, tour the campus and residence halls, and interact with current students. What better way to try on a University for size?

Check out our Preview Page to get more information about this Home School Preview event!

Questions about the preview? Call Elizabeth Smith at (903)233-4331.

Hope to see you there on November 9th!

Our fall scholarship – what we’re looking for

HSNation provides college scholarships to homeschooled and independent study students. That’s it. That’s our goal – to help you pursue your goals. We will give away as much money as we can raise, and we’ll do it for as long as we can. That’s our job.

But, what’s your job? Your job is to tell us what makes you special and why you should be on the receiving end of this cash. What skills have you learned? What do you want to do in the future? How will you take your homeschooled or independent study education and make it work for you? In the end, its great to go to college, but its even better to do something great once you get there.

When you sign up to HSNation, be sure to write your personal statement to participate in our scholarship program – that’s the key.
